Logistics Operations Coordinator

The Mobile Business Unit supports the global distribution of mobile devices with a focus on speed, reliability, and operational efficiency. The Logistics Coordinator (Air/Ocean) is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving inbound and outbound air and ocean freight operations, ensuring shipments move efficiently from manufacturers to Samsung warehouses and ultimately to customers.
This position requires hands-on experience in Air or Ocean Freight Operations, along with solid ocean freight knowledge. As our operation supports global transportation across multiple time zones, this position follows a five-day work schedule that includes weekend shifts based on operational requirements.

9) Air Export Responsibilities
* Receive and validate Air Export shipping instructions (SI) from customers.
* Coordinate booking with airlines and freight forwarders based on required transit time and cost.
* Prepare and review MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoice, packing list, SLI and export declarations.
* Coordinate TSA, IATA and dangerous goods (DG) compliance when applicable.
* Monitor cargo cut-off time, terminal receiving schedule and flight departures.
* Coordinate warehouse cargo receiving, screening, palletizing and ULD build-up.
* Manage export customs clearance and respond to customs examinations or holds.
* Track flight departures, transshipment status and final arrival; proactively resolve exceptions.
* Communicate shipment status and milestones to customers through regular updates.
* Handle flight cancellation, rollover, offload and rebooking with minimum service disruption.
* Review airline freight invoices and accessorial charges for accuracy.
* Measure Air Export KPI including On-Time Departure (OTD), On-Time Arrival (OTA), booking accuracy, document accuracy and claims ratio.
* Support peak season capacity planning and airline allocation strategy.
* Drive continuous process improvement to reduce transit time and logistics cost.
